Awareness on traffic rules and road safety – July 25th 2017

Stressing the importance of road safety – An inititiative taken by MICO Layout traffic Police team headed by Mrs Meena Kumari Sub-Inspector of police traffic The team addressed the staff and students on how every individual has to understand the concept of safety rules and abide by the the traffic rules in our city which is fast developing leading to road mishaps and the need to wear protective gear while driving, Police department alone cannot bring down incidence of road mishaps, a collective effort is required from the public apart from police to promote and implement safety rules effectively, Education and awareness are equally important unless and until everyone is aware of the laws and hence familiar with the importance of following traffic rules for their own safety, the rules cannot be implemented with a corrective purpose.
