Convention on prevention of drug abuse

Bengaluru city police in their effort to curb drug menace and as per the orders of Karnataka Government on formation of the anti-drug committee in colleges which is set up in line with the anti-ragging committees which have been set up to lower incidents of ragging across the country had organized a convention at Nimhans Convention Centre.

Principal Mrs. Sumaiya Fathima and Assistant professor department of commerce Mrs. Komal Gupta attended the convention. The topic of discussion was advocating total war against drug menace that can be tackled by the coordinated efforts from police and education department officials. The chief guest for the occasion was Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister G Parameshwara.
