Hindi Diwas ( Celebrated on September 29th 2018 )

Department of Hindi celebrated “Hindi Diwas” to inculcate love for the Hindi Language and to make students aware of the importance of “Hindi Diwas” Hindi Saptah a week long activities like Essay writing, Elocution contest, traditional songs, Debate competition Hindi Poetry were conducted. Prof N Shanti Kokila Department of Hindi Abbas Khan College and member board of studies Bangalore University was the Chief guest who in her speech spoke on the significance of the day and motivated students to speak and to stick to the use of pure Hindi and give more respect and learn other languages too. The entire programme was conducted in Hindi which captured the students fluency and command on the language. The chief guest gave away the prizes to the winners of various competitions that were held. The efforts of the entire Hindi Department in organizing this program is commended.
