Teaching a Noble Profession: Teachers Reminded
Teachers day was celebrated on a grand scale in the campus, Dr Syed Naseer Hussain Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha was the chief guest for the occasion, he delivered a lecture on the role of a teacher in building the career of students, teaching is the best profession in the world which is responsible for students to judge what is right and wrong and teachers are valued part of our community we need to respect them, today’s students need a global awareness and understanding of other cultures, and appreciated the abilities and the work of teachers of our institution.
Mrs Sowmya Reddy MLA Jayanagar Constituency spoke on the special occasion said that teachers also need inspiration that can keep them focused on goal of education and be motivated to play their part and students must view both parents and teachers as partners in education.
Mr R Roshan Baig Chairman BET Institutions in his presidential remarks highlighted the role of teachers in a society’s development: Teaching is one of the noble profession, one must show gratitude for the teacher and it is a moral responsibility of students to remember and respect them.
On the occasion two teachers Ms Nasreen Taj M Assistant professor Department of Commerce and Management and Ms Nahid Parween Assistant professor Department of English were felicitated for having shown innovation in their work and for adding value to the institution and to students.
